Meet Divya, Your Bridal Hair and Makeup Artist
Born in Punjab and raised in New Zealand from the age of twelve, Divya embodies a harmonious blend of cultural heritage and contemporary artistic refinement. Her connection to beauty began long before her professional career, nurtured within her mother’s beauty studio where she spent her childhood witnessing the quiet and transformative magic of bridal preparation.
With her mother being a beauty therapist since 1981, Divya was immersed in the world of beauty from the very beginning. By eleven, she was fully trained through her mother’s beauty school, a unique foundation that gave her advanced skill and an instinctive eye for symmetry, detail and artistic expression.
A Legacy Carried Forward
Ibaadat Artistry was created from Divya’s devotion to craft inspired by legacy, elevated through global learning and refined through experience. Her artistic journey includes mentorship under Yvana Bridal Hairstylist along with ongoing international upskilling. Most recently, Divya completed the KYK Hair Masterclass in Sydney on 10 November 2025, ensuring her brides benefit from the latest trends and world leading techniques.

Divya’s artistry is rooted in intention. She believes bridal beauty is more than makeup. It is emotion, heritage, confidence and storytelling. Each look is created to honour a bride’s identity whether traditional, modern or a balanced blend of both.
