Please note that these terms and conditions are non negotiable and subject to change.

1.BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS

1.1 Quotes & Deposits

 A personalised quote will be issued via email and is valid for 7 days only.
• To secure your wedding date, a 40% booking fee is required.
• All booking fees/deposits are non‑refundable and non‑transferable.
• Your date is confirmed only once payment has cleared into the nominated account.

For smaller or single special occasion bookings, a $100 non‑refundable deposit may be required.

1.2 Remaining Balance

 A personalised quote will be issued via email and is valid for 7 days only.

• All booking fees/deposits are non‑refundable and non‑transferable.
• Your date is confirmed only once payment has cleared into the nominated account.

By paying a deposit, the client agrees to all Terms & Conditions outlined in this document.

1.3 Date Exclusivity

For weddings or group bookings of 4 or more services, full‑day exclusivity is guaranteed. No additional bookings will be accepted on your event date, ensuring complete focus on your bridal party and timeline.

2. SERVICES & QUOTE CONDITIONS

2.1 Service Changes

• Any additional services must be requested as early as possible.
• Services not included in the original quote may be declined at the artist’s discretion.
• Services marked TBC are subject to availability.

2.2 Minimum Service Requirement (Peak Season)

During peak wedding season (October–April / Friday–Sunday), a minimum of 4 single services (hair, makeup, or combined) is required.

2.3 Service Reductions

The total number of services listed in the original quote cannot be reduced. Clients may substitute people, but payment remains based on the original number of services booked.

3. CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES

3.1 Weddings

• All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.
• Wedding deposits are 100% non‑refundable and non‑transferable.

If Divya is unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, a qualified team artist will be assigned. If the client declines a replacement artist, the deposit will be fully refunded.

3.2 General / Special Occasion Bookings

• The final balance is payable on the event day via cash or bank transfer as one payment.
• The person who paid the deposit is responsible for the full balance.
• Cancellations within 48 hours or no‑shows result in total loss of deposit.

4. TRAVEL & LOCATION FEES

• A minimum $50 travel fee applies to all mobile bookings.
• Auckland CBD bookings incur a flat $80 fee.
• Out-of-Auckland travel is priced based on distance and time.
• Waiheke Island weddings: $200 per artist (includes ferry, transport, and parking).
Clients must provide the service address at enquiry. Any location change may result in a revised travel fee.
For non-wedding events, mobile bookings require a minimum of 2 services. Otherwise, services may be completed at the Divya’s home studio.

5. EARLY START FEES

• Start times from 6:00 AM onwards incur no additional fee.
• Start times before 6:00 AM will incur a $50 early call-out fee per artist.

6. SERVICE DURATION & ADD-ONS

Makeup Timing
• Soft Glam: 60 minutes
• Full Glam: 90 minutes
(All makeup includes lashes and a touch-up kit.)

Hair Styling Timing
• Short hair: 45–60 minutes
• Medium–long hair: 60–90 minutes
• Very long/thick hair: 90–120 minutes
Hair extension application: +$50 (15–20 minutes).
• Client extensions: application fee only
• Ibaadat rental extensions: $150 (styling included)
No cutting, colouring, or blow-dry services are provided. Hair must be clean and completely dry.

7. TIMING, DELAYS & OVERTIME

• All clients must be present at the scheduled time.
• Arrivals over 15 minutes late may result in cancellation at the artist’s discretion.
• Late fee: $25 per 15 minutes.
• Overtime (if available): $50 per 30 minutes per artist.
This policy applies to all bookings, including trials.

8. EVENT DAY PREPARATION

Inspiration – Clients must provide reference images prior to or on the day of service.
Skin Preparation
• Clean skin, no makeup
• Moisturiser only (no SPF)
• Allergies must be disclosed in advance

Hair Preparation
• Clean, dry, blow-dried hair
• No oils or styling products
A personalized timeline will be emailed 1 week before the wedding.

9. WORKSPACE, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT

Clients must provide:
• Adequate lighting
• Power outlets
• Clean, safe working conditions
• Dining-size table near natural light
• Bar stool or high chair (preferred)
Unsuitable environments may result in refusal of service with no refund.
Pets must be disclosed in advance. Larger dogs should be kept separate for safety reasons.

10. MEDIA & REVIEWS

Photos and videos may be taken for promotional use. Clients must notify Ibaadat in advance if they do not consent.
Clients are welcome to share professional photos post-event and leave a Google review.

11. ADDITIONAL SERVICES ON THE DAY

Extra styling requests may be accommodated subject to time availability and paid in cash on the day. Advance notice is strongly recommended.

12. BRIDAL TRIALS

• Recommended 1–2 months prior to the wedding
• Weekdays only (8 AM–12 PM)
• Duration: up to 3 hours (hair & makeup)
Skipping a trial limits the ability to guarantee your final look. Trials are strongly advised, especially for complex styles or extensions.

13. LIABILITY & ALLERGIES

All tools and products are sanitised between clients. Makeup products are professional and skincare-based.
Clients must disclose any skin sensitivities prior to application. Ibaadat Artistry and collaborators are released from liability for allergic reactions or skin complications arising during or after service.
